Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement explains the type of personal data that Imperial NTT LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”) collects from you when you visit the official/business premises, and how the Controller uses this data.
Why do we collect (process) personal data?
The Controller collects personal data through the video surveillance system for the following reasons (purposes):
• To control access to the facility and ensure the security of the premises, the safety of employees of the Controller, visitors, as well as the property and information located or stored within the premises;
• To prevent, deter, and if necessary, investigate unauthorized physical access, including unauthorized access to secure rooms, IT infrastructure, or operational information;
• To prevent, detect, and investigate theft of equipment or assets owned by the Controller, visitors, or employees, or threats to the safety of personnel working within the premises (e.g., fire, physical attack).
The video surveillance system is not used for any other purpose, such as monitoring employee performance or attendance. The cameras are installed in such a way that they do not cover the surrounding public space. The cameras are intended to provide a general overview of what happens in specific areas.
The video surveillance system is also not used as an investigative tool or to obtain evidence for internal investigations or disciplinary procedures, except in the case of a security incident, for which video surveillance is established in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. (In exceptional circumstances, the data may be transferred to investigative authorities within the framework of a formal disciplinary or criminal investigation).
The cameras are installed on a dedicated server and are positioned and focused in such a way that they only record individuals who access the official/business premises. The video surveillance system covers areas such as entrance/exit points of the building and the entry/exit points of the facilities on both floors.
What kind of data does the Controller collect?
The video surveillance system collects only images captured by the cameras, with no audio recording.
